Casino Management Certificate The Casino Management Certificate develops proficiencies in casino resort operations management. This certificate program is designed for business students that are not hospitality and tourism management majors, who are interested in casino resort management careers. Apr 23, 2020 Certificate programs in casino management teach students about the basic business and management functions of casinos, while an associate's degree program in casino management provides students.

The Casino Management program becomes part of the 'Hospitality Suite' of program offerings that have tremendous synergies and positive impact on the local economy and employment picture for residents of Broome County and New York State. Ther Certificate is a smaller concentration of the degree offering and is intended for students that either hold degrees in other disciplines or that desire core skills without attaining a degree. This program, when combined with the simultaneously proposed degree/certificate in Events Management, the currently exisiting program in Hotel/Restaurant Management, and the proposed future program in Culinary Arts provides the educational platform from which an entire local industry is serviced, the downtown city of Binghamton, New York is revitalized, and local hospitality employment demands are met.

This industry specific program prepares students to work in hospitality. Students can earn an Associate of Art through a unique series of general hospitality and industry specific classes or earn certificates in a variety of industry and skill specific areas including restaurant management and skills and hotel management and skills.
Students who complete these programs complete prepared to enter the workforce directly or seek more education.
